Overcoming the Pandemic
攜手抗疫

As the pandemic worsened in Taiwan, all schools hastily switched to online learning by the end of May. Without wavering, we worked to continue our service, staying by the childrens’ side and supporting their education throughout the difficult times. We even decided to provide additional sessions for students with extra needs. Under the assistance and coordination of parents, schools, and volunteers, we were able to successfully hold summer tutoring sessions. In the absence of school-defined learning schedules, volunteers prepared extra interesting and absorbing topics to introduce the children to engaginig and fun learning!

在疫情擴散下，今年的學期結束得相當匆忙。五月份起，學校紛紛改為線上授課。響應停課不停學，我們的視訊服務，當然得繼續走下去！但是平常學童都是在學校和我們連線的，現在少了老師的監督和協助，如何順利在家上線？成了我們最大的考驗。所幸，經過學校與家長的多方協調、聯繫。包括大溪國小、大里國小、麥寮學堂，我們都持續陪孩童上了一個暑假的課。少了學校功課壓力，志工們也紛紛使出十八般武藝，搜尋各種教材，豐富暑假的英語學習！
